Re: Taurus/Libra
Mon, November 12, 2007 - 7:23 AMMy ex is a Libra.. he was the biggest liar and cheater i have ever met. I caught him cheating yet he STILL denyed it! I had so much proof but he always had an excuse!! He loved me but wanted girls on the side. He was pretty romantic though... and he made me feel like the most beautiful girl on the planet. Sex wise- we werent compatible. Sex to him was more about the physical... to me more about the emotional experiance. He hated to argue so when a problem arose instead of talking about it he wanted to ignore them and gloss over them which made it even worse. I'm more of a homebody, hes more of a social butterfly. We just didnt work. I have libra friends that I get along great with though. -

Re: Taurus/Libra
Fri, November 16, 2007 - 6:22 AMi have a lot of Libra friends in my life ... they are grrrreat friends, but i don't think i could ever date one. It doesn't seem like they ever communicate whats bothering them ... they tend to be quiet about stuff like that and its really annoying. they try to avoid all problems and pretend like they aren't there, so that makes them very easy and fun to get along with, but impossible to have a relationship with, (atleast for me.) i think it really depends on your venus sign compatibility .... mines gemini and i need communication, and the Libra's i know are VERY loyal ... -

Re: Taurus/Libra
Tue, December 25, 2007 - 1:07 AMThey're usually big flirts. If that's OK with you, then go for it. But I don't know of too many Tauruses who are OK with that.
However, they don't seem to cheat as much as they like to engage in usually harmless flirting. The problem is they do it in front of you. At least in my case, it was like waving a red flag in front of this bull.

Re: Taurus/Libra
Tue, December 25, 2007 - 3:44 AMUgh. My advice = no.
There are better matches (astrologically). Try Aries/Taurus/Cancer/Leo/Virgo/Scorpio/Capricorn/Pisces before resorting to Libra. Those are all better matches w/Taurus than Libra.
I'm not saying it can't be done. Of course, there's a lot more to it than the Sun sign ,and strong compatibility in other areas of the chart might make the whole thing do-able. In general, Taurus/Libra alone is a marginal match, there needs to be more. The only bond we have with Libra is Venus, but even there we value the tangible side whereas they value the ideal/ethereal. Dicey.

Re: Taurus/Libra
Tue, January 8, 2008 - 2:36 PMLibra's are in love with love and if they are in love with a Taurus who doesn't try to possess them, a Taurus who gives them space to breath, a Libra will remain faithful. If they are not in love, if they are not that in to you, don't waste your time, cuz they will cheat. who wouldn't? -

Re: Taurus/Libra
Tue, January 8, 2008 - 6:27 PM"Libra's are in love with love"
That's really what I don't like about them, now that you mention it. At least romantically. I want my lover to be in love with ME -- not with love. -

Re: Taurus/Libra
Fri, May 30, 2008 - 7:34 PMwell if they are in love with love, just be the "love" that they desire and you will be blessed with a dedicated romantic soul, who's willing to give the attention that taurus loves so much. Also, libras are big on compromise so if you think they flirt to much (it comes natural to them so they might not even be aware of it) just let them know, they'll be willing to work it out.
One things though, the sex between a taurus and a libra can be divine...divine I tell you. -

Re: Taurus/Libra
Sat, May 31, 2008 - 11:16 AMErm...a 2 week experience, if you want to call it that. In high school, we talked on the phone every day for two weeks, he'd drive me home from school, we hung out together outside of school.
But then on the last night, I was in his room watching Spaceballs with him and a couple of his guy friends. I hated the movie and kept making sarcastic comments about various things in the movie, and he was silent most of the time. Until he all of a sudden jumped up and said 'i'm taking you home' He didn't say a word after that, dropped me off and we never spoke again.
Apparently, Spaceballs was really important to him. -

Re: Taurus/Libra
Sun, February 15, 2009 - 11:52 PMI am a Taurus with Moon and Rising and Pluto in Libra. I really get along with Libras. But yes, from my Libran side, we are flirtatious, which conflicts with my Taurus sun and venus. I feel guilty later. But the problem is that Libras don't intend to be flirtatious... they are just very friendly and some people read that as a come on and then respond with a come on. When all the Libra was trying to do was be silly and fun.
But I think it goes for Libra and Taurus... they are faithful when in love. But can have many relationships at once if not in love.

Re: Taurus/Libra
Fri, March 6, 2009 - 11:40 AMHmm. Well, they were pleasant enough. Very sweet and romantic while we dated. Typically for about two weeks before they disappeared off the face of the planet with no warning, no reason, no forwarded number. ;)

Re: Taurus/Libra
Fri, March 27, 2009 - 12:54 PMI had a long-term relationship with a Libra, who had a moon in Taurus. I think since we were both Venus-ruled, it worked well in the beginning. Also, Libras are so affable and good at compromise that they kind of let you have your way. But, it turns out, they do in fact want it their way and will lash out at you if you point out any of their weaknesses or question them in anything at all.
Professor Higgin's song seemed like the most accurate description I've ever heard:
"She will beg you for advice, your reply will be concise and she'll go out and do exactly what she wants!"
I'd rather have a ferocious argument than some passive-aggressive subterranean warfare. Also, if you sulk and don't say anything, they'll hold it (and use it) against you.
One thing that always drove me insane was that I could come up with a perfect insight or advice or true fact, and she would not take it from me. But three weeks later Polly from work would mention the same thing and she'd say "Polly had the greatest idea". General consensus equals truth for them. Ugh!
I have some great Libra friends, though... to continue the general trend on here;) -

Re: Taurus/Libra
Sun, May 10, 2009 - 10:46 AMperhaps it was simply easier for her to take advice from someone that could ponder the situation from a detached perspective. In relationships there is always that desire not to hurt our partners... Strangers being just that are often more blunt and can touch upon things a partner might have become blind to.
Your ex sounds very similar to me. and I am not a libra at all. Taurus Sun, Gemini Rising. Maybe the problem was that she felt she could not speak to you. As this is often why i become passive aggressive.
just a thought.

Re: Taurus/Libra
Wed, April 8, 2009 - 12:32 AMI've been with a Libra for almost 4 years, and engaged a little over a year - at the risk of jinxing things, we are great together so far. As for the flirting/cheating thing, well, we are poly, so there tends to be an incredible amount of communication with regards to relationships and therefore "cheating" is something that doesn't exactly come up, at least not in a traditional sense.
I've been told I'm abnormal for a Taurus because I'm not generally possessive or jealous, but as I said, we do a *lot* of talking and working our way through things in our relationships so maybe that makes it different?
I'm a Taurus, Capricorn moon, Leo rising ... if that matters ... I can't remember what his moon and rising signs are at the moment ...
Oh! And yes, the sex is divine and amazing, like someone else here pointed out :D
