I'm a taurus-gemini. It's a very weird mix like being bullheaded with split personalities. Anyone share my confusion?

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Fri, October 29, 2004 - 9:27 AMI was married to a triple Gemini...OMGoddess that DID NOT WORK! Being a Taurean and well grounded in a stable and predictable "hearth & home," I never knew which one of the six was going to be behind the door when I got there. To make things worse, I was only in love with one of them. A 1 in 6 odds in a marriage does not mix. As a Taurean, Gemini's are TOTALLY off my list! I
Have a Gemini Moon so I have thought about applying to the Akashic records and having my Moon legally changed...LOL!
Blessings,

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Fri, October 29, 2004 - 9:59 AMI'm not much of an astrology buff. What is the compatabilty of a taurus and gemini supposed to be? I'm curious because it might explain a lot of my internal conflicts. -
-
Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Fri, October 29, 2004 - 10:27 AMTaurus and Gemini are generally not compatible. The only thing that could save this (and I would not try it) is if the Gemini had a LOT of Taurus, Scorpio and Cancer in their chart...otherwise keep moving. Gemini's they're just Wrong.
I think we should look at when Gemini's are born, count back nine months and declare that International Abstinence Month!
Blessed Be,
Dylan
PS: I'm still working on getting rid of that Gemini Moon of mine...LOL! -

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Thu, December 9, 2004 - 5:11 PMI was with a T/G cusp (5/18) for 5 years, though we broke up and reunited several times. I have to agree, when it works it's incredible and when it doesn't work it's incredibly bad.
She also had a pisces moon and my inner planets are all fire, so I would tend to piss her off and then I would be pissed off at her for getting pissed off at me for simply being myself............ .........kinda nasty in that way; viscious circle kinda sh%t.
I'm happy tho cuz it gave me a lot of experience dealing w/Gemini NRG, though I'm finding nowadays that Gemini NRG isn't something I find particularly enticing.

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Fri, January 27, 2006 - 8:21 AMI'm on the other side, A-T cusp.. cusps are generally supposed to get along very well almost insignificant of signs. One of my best friends was a T-G. I remember him being very conflicted all the time, very emotional, and yes stubbornly split in his personalities ;) We caused a lot of trouble together without ever getting in trouble really. -

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Tue, November 6, 2007 - 12:20 PMRayn and I share a birthday, and I do get along well with most other people born on cusps. I have a strange affiliation with the Taurus/Gemini cuspers. I end up knowing a good number of them, and they fascinate me, and I am completely hesitant to let them in at a very deep level. I recently had the experience of having two of them, born ten years apart, confessing their crushes on me. I adore both of them, and I know that one side of them would be exceedingly loyal, but I have had such a hard time with the Geminis that I have dated. But, well, it seems that most people have their Gemini stories, so I won't go into that here.
I do have a greater air influence (lots of Libra) in my chart than anything else, so I feel that I understand air signs, and that could explain our mutual attraction.

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Fri, October 29, 2004 - 11:13 AMI've seriously dated two Gemini's - neither was a good match, but when things were good, it was a real blast. Their energy is infectious and their curiosity about Life in general was wonderful.
I've seriously dated an Aquarius - never again. Me, Me, Me, . . . the entire world seemed to revolve around her.
I've seriously dated a Capricorn - a big mistake. Sex was great though.
Currently dating a Pisces - much better match.

Sun, November 28, 2004 - 5:41 PMThank you, Lauren! I missed it (he he). Happy belated half birthday to you too. To all the 20th birthday folk. We are very passionate and stuborn people. I've been reading up on my astrological charts and my new advice to myself is to feel but not drown and to trust my first instincts. This whole mental conflict of being a Taurus-Gemini is too much stress. Why fight myself (he he)? -

but I know what you're saying here; I was w/a Virgo for 4 years and she has been way nicer to me since we split. (of course we were both very young). I hate to put it this way, but since this IS a Taurus tribe I can say it = once they get OD'd on Taurus anger, maybe it puts things in perspective?

Tue, August 7, 2007 - 3:31 PMHey. I'm born on the 18th too. I've read that the cusp actually starts on the 19th. Maybe it's my venus and saturn in gemini, but I definitely feel the gemini influence and consider myself a cusp baby. Plus, I was born four hours short of the 19th, so close enough! -

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Sun, November 25, 2007 - 4:27 PMI blame my good luck in friendships on being on the cusp (although I am Aries/Taurus, so perhaps it is the mutability of Gemini that has you waffling). I enjoy being born on the cusp. You get to have two elements to work with! You might be more adaptable than you know.

Sun, January 27, 2008 - 9:39 PMI'm May 23rd. My toddler son is May 20th. I expect this will make for interesting times in our future, hahaha.

Fri, May 2, 2008 - 1:12 PMi'm also a 5/20. they say we are very intellectual and are extremely well communicators to where we can be very manipulating and two faced. Hmm.. I have to say, I can be a manipulator at times without trying.

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Fri, August 29, 2008 - 12:23 PMi'm 5/19.
Sheesh. i'm a huge contradiction unto itself. all the time i drive ppl crazy with my indecisiness. My boyfriend thinks i'm pretty much crazy, because i'll change my mind over and over about the littlest things. He had some cereal and at first i wanted a bite of it, then when he was about to give me a bite, i changed my mind. then i decided i wanted it again.
as far as emtoions, i'm always second-guessing them. I must say i think i do have split personality syndrome. all the time they talk about Taurus being grounded, but i fit the profile of a talkitive, manipulative, psychotic gemini much more. My boyfriend is an Aquairus by the way, and i'm more erratic and unpredictable then he is.
=/
Somthing's up.

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Sat, August 30, 2008 - 8:26 AMMan am I glad I'm not cuspy! 5/17. I don't feel the split personality thing, but I do have my merc in Gem, and it's a big house 7 sign for me. :)
Sorry it's so crazy making. But everyone's insane in some way. It's fab that you are who you are, and that it's different from everyone else.

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Sat, August 30, 2008 - 8:30 AMMy DOB's 17/05, so its not really on the cusp, but I have lots of gemini in me (mars and mercury both in gemini), and alotta people tell me they find it hard to understand me, and they're right, there are too many contradictions to me.
Need security (tau), yet crave constant change and excitment, and can be rather restless (gem). And its also turned me into a social butterfly, so might at times come across as rather shallow and scattered, when in fact im deep and emotional (sco ascendant, pluto in sco 12th). These were just 2 simple examples of how those energies work against each other...
But i cant complain, it might be hard to know me, but at least you'd be guaranteed to have loads of fun and never get bored with me round!! loool
I think its a difficult but interesting mix to have (tau, gem n sco), and they kinda balance each other out. -
-
Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Sat, August 30, 2008 - 12:50 PMit seems that all successive signs are contradictory in one way or another, yet I can usually find some affinity or at least a better sense of continuity than I see between these two. There's a pretty clean break between gemini and cancer as well. That's not to say that gemini doesn't offset the "weight" of each of them, and vice versa.

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Thu, February 26, 2009 - 5:55 PMI'm May 19th also, Taurus/Gemini Cusp!!! Always torn, scattered brains, insane when crazy gemini kicks in. My friends call me Jekel and Hyde. I get along with other cusp people. Charming when I want to be. Very indecisive! Moody...

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Sun, May 3, 2009 - 6:11 PMI am a guy (b. 22 May). I share your confusion. I have had the most disruptive life ever & been filled with ups & downs!
* No one at home understands my mentality, & thinking. I dont share their viewpoints, and they falsely accuse me of being 'black-hearted', or 'mental'. Basically I am the "Black Sheep" of the family.
*As Brittney perfect put it - I too have contradicting preferences and opinions. Im also perceived as 'strange' by others. People are only drawn to me when they see me in person & they invite me to places only to realise that Im not actually invited after all?!
*Im so bitter & jealous about not accomplishing much in life.
*Though Im paid very well, Ive never been able to hold down a permanent job & I am always finding work via job agencies.
*I find it difficult to hold a relationship for more than 3 months.
* I dont get on well with Virgos, cant stand Libra's, and Sagittarians. Taurean's & Gemini's are too much like me so I cannot date anyone that shares the same traits - lol. Scorpio & Caps get on my nerves, but somewhat attracted to them (sex with Cap amazing & non-meaningful, Sex with scorpio highly meaningful & romantic).
*I dont have much to say on broad subjects so people get the impression im 'boring' person?
*People are jealous of what car I drive, how I dress myself & men are especially jealous that I know their girlfriends. They are better looking than me, so why should they be so bloody jealous? lol - Ive never intended on creating this negativitity. -

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps

I think I'm really screwed up, honestly, I've got a Pisces Moon, a Leo ascendant, and well you know about the cusp.
I feel you all of you who have dated Geminis, honestly though? I think I developed my Taurus side more and possibly my Leo one. Pisces moon screws with me but I think I mostly have it under control. I have ALWAYS been attracted to Taureans, always always, I am with a Taurus I now and we are just fine, so it IS possible! We have been together for 4 years :].
I also dated a Gemini II or III I think? Yeah, that didn't work, he was way too immature, I guess my Taurus side helps me more than hinders me :D. -

Re: Taurus-Gemini cusps
Sat, June 27, 2009 - 10:52 PMHey, I have had my fair share of confusion and when I looked online for an answer, this is what I found. It is somewhat long so brace yourself.. Hope it helps!
Persons born "on the line" between two Zodiac Signs partake of qualities found in both Signs or, more strictly speaking, have a blend of traits that may compose an individual nature. Due to variations in astrological calendars, this may became apparent during the last few days of a departing Sign, but the "cusp" (as it is termed) pertains chiefly to the first week of the incoming Sign. While the new Sign is gaining its ascendancy, the influences of the old will persist but gradually loses its hold day-by-day until, by the seventh day, the new Sign is in complete control.
Individuals born on the cusp of Taurus (the second Sign of the Zodiac) and Gemini (the third Sign of the Zodiac) are ruled by both Venus and Mercury. Here, the influence of Venus endows these cuspians with a graceful and easy manner, coupled with a winning personality, while Mercury's influence increases the talent for music, art and eloquence. These individuals are thinkers, orators, artists and inventors. In short, the hands and brain work together in perfect harmony for this cusp combination. They display great imagination and tend to be very expressive, both physically as well as mentally. Taurus/Gemini natives would be well advised to become actively employed since the more they have to occupy their minds, the greater will be personal happiness...massage therapy, pottery, writing, painting and the composing of music can bring great fulfillment to these cuspians. In short, an idle Taurus/Gemini subject is a morbid and unhappy soul indeed.
The Taurus/Gemini cusp combination, also known as the Cusp of Energy, corresponds symbolically to the period of human life at around the age of fourteen. The firm-set Taurus nature here (which is controlled by the Planet Venus) acts as a counter-balance to the activity of Mercury (the Planet which rules Gemini) with its quick and mercurial ways. Because of the Gemini character, the desire to try new things is in the ascendant, but there is an inherent reluctance to relinquish the old...a carry-over from Taurus. This factors greatly in stability. However, an excess of this trait can hamper the Gemini nature and may result in an attempt to do two things at once...usually to the detriment of both. It can also make these cuspians stubborn about lesser things, even when they know little about them. Self-control is strongly needed in this blend and, once acquired, will enable these individuals to correct yet another aspect often lacking in this particular cusp combination...that being concentration, which is essential to this highly adaptable but somewhat contradictory Zodiac type. Those governed by the Taurus/Gemini cusp are said to be gifted in any domain they see fit to enter. These are often the artisans (and frequently the artists) of the Zodiac but, without the correct early training, are likely to develop in an abnormal fashion with a tendency to spend their time in sensuous enjoyment. These cuspians are said to have three masters: Castor and Pollux (who are seldom in harmony) and the Bull (who is ever determined to rule that historic pair). At best, these individuals are very busy and helpful...at worst, they become indolent.
Taurus/Gemini natives are exceedingly proud souls who would undoubtedly prefer starvation to dependence. If they do happen to find themselves in humble circumstances, then they will certainly be very miserable but, displaying entirely too much pride than is good for them, begging for help of any kind will be totally out of the question. These are glorious givers but reluctant receivers...a trait which can result in a character who is overly-free with money and a tendency to be wasteful. Thus, it is important that these cuspians develop a purposeful aspect to their nature. Nevertheless, these subjects can succeed at almost anything if they are willing to try. They are always active and energetic with refined manners and pleasing habits. They possess a keen interest in the world around them and the inherent charm cannot fail to draw innumerable friends and sweethearts. However, those involved with Taurus/Gemini individuals (who are notorious for their reputation as unstrustworthy souls) are likely to live in constant fear of losing them. To some, this may be an appealing challenge...to others, it is a frightening concept, particularly in the areas of business and employment. The brilliance of these cuspians is not normally sufficient to guarantee success in a given field unless such is supported by a string of undeniable accomplishments. Unfortunately, the characteristic associated with this cusp rarely manifests an endurance which is equal to personal desires and impulses. While slower and more purposeful people simply "hang in there," Taurus/Gemini individuals often find themselves being passed in life's race...rather like the hare was overtaken by the self-possessed and deliberate tortoise. The preparation of a resume may well be a rather painful process for these cuspians since it will likely reveal an eclectic background which is lacking any real depth...short sojourns in each job and somewhat dubious accomplishments, for example. Learning about the creation of structure and the value of limitations is essential for the growth of a Taurus/Gemini individual.
Taurus/Gemini cuspians will probably easily perceive themselves as more of a force than a person. No experts in self-awareness, from an early age they tend to forge a role for themselves in life which is active rather than passive...dynamic rather than static. As children, they are interested in everything around them, apt to fly every which way in their search for stimulation. These cuspians want to do it all and take on the world through a frontal assault. Some Taurus/Gemini individuals fail to form a strong ego when they are young, constantly wishing to please and often fearful of rejection. This can result in a character which accepts the wishes of others at personal expense. Thus, self-assertion and the building of a powerful ego can become a lifelong occupation for these cuspians. Taurus/Gemini individuals frequently remain youthful and light-hearted their entire lives, but the inherent need for physical pleasure can lead to an over-emphasis on money and the accumulation of possessions. Indeed, they are frequently somewhat addicted to sensuousness (and, at times, sensuality), prone to carry their tendencies to extreme and apt to invest in such items as fast cars and other material means of stimulation. In addition, without the correct training early in life, these cuspians may develop exceedingly large bodies. Nevertheless, these are basically tolerant and gentle souls who are often perceived by others as being scattered and highly-strung. The many interests of Taurus/Gemini subjects make them entertaining and loyal friends with a carefree and unpredictable twist. In their leisure time, Taurus/Gemini individuals enjoy pairing up with partners for recreation. Outdoor activities that allow a closeness with the earth are most favored. The love of conversation and good food ensures that relaxing dinners with friends are highly enjoyable and the inquisitive and literary orientation of this cuspian means that he or she will also enjoy mentally challenging pursuits. In short, the Taurus/Gemini cusp combination makes for a charming and congenial individual who has many friends and acquaintances in all areas of life.
With regard to relationships, since the rulers of this cusp combination are Venus and Mercury, any love affair must be both physical and mental in origin. The practical applications of artistic ability and authorship are profound on this cusp and domestic life is best if financially secure and mentally stimulated. The elements of earth (associated with Taurus) and air (associated with Gemini) rarely blend well. Instead, each element will seek to find its own territory or outlet. Taurus/Gemini individuals are inclined to be richly sensual by nature and, if left alone or isolated, may well become deeply depressed. Projects that are many-faceted and require patience can help in the healing of hurts for this combination. If security is threatened, a nervousness and lack of mental grounding may occur and it is essential for these cuspians to guard the throat and upper respiratory tract since, under stress, these body parts become most vulnerable to attack.
The great strengths of the Taurus/Gemini combination are stability, perseverance, and both intellectual and conversational skills. These cuspians are able to analyze difficult ideas and communicate those ideas to others in a clear an concise manner. Their methodical determination enables them to be productive even when others have long since "given up the ghost." There is a natural talent here to reason with others and this cusp combination is one of the strongest of the Zodiac when it comes to meeting goals...largely due to the inherent reliable persistence.
The most important lesson to be learned by Taurus/Gemini natives is that they should always be careful not to wear themselves out and realize that there are limits to what an individual can achieve in a short period of time. Additionally, it is important for them learn not to come on too strong and they also need to recognize the value of confronting personal fears and insecurities. As with all cusp individuals, these cuspians tend to be attracted to others born on the cusp...particularly those who fall within the Aries/Taurus and Sagittarius/Capricorn combinations.
-- Possess the earthy physical traits inherent in Taurus --
